Meals & Equiptment provided, but if you have tents, sleeping bags, cooking equiptment bring all you have to share!

Join other UMBC students for a fun-filled afternoon removing invasive garlic mustard just minutes from campus. Everyone will meet at the flag poles near the RAC at 12:00 pm and should be back to campus by 5pm.

Please join us for our 10th annual Garlic Mustard Challenge, on Sunday, May 3, from 1 pm – 4:30 pm.
Maybe you are a born competitor that wants to win first place in the pulling competition…
Or perhaps you just want to volunteer for a couple hours in beautiful Patapsco State Park pulling out this invasive plant at your own pace…
Or maybe you have always wanted to show off your culinary talents and participate in an amateur chef contest…
Or you just want to come out and enjoy live music from Patapsco Valley’s finest guitarist, Sam “Muleman” Miller, enjoying old fashioned picnic games, do the limbo,
wander around the environmental exhibits or join in on the nature scavenger hunt!
Or perhaps you have a child who has artistic talent that wants to enter a poster contest where he/she could win a great prize!
